Congratulations to BURN and All BURNers.
BURN is now a member of USA Track and field (USATF) !
This means: Privilege, Opportunity and Responsibility.
This is not by chance, but by choice -- our choice.
We choose to be who we are, and we choose to be a responsible running group.
As some of us may know, multi-use trails like SCT and LGCT, a large group/event permit is required (meaning a fee) for any event or activity that is attended by 50 or more people AND is pre-advertised (such as an event).
BURN need your help to be a better NPO to help people. Since BURN membership is free, BURN cannot afford permit for weekend long run.
We will create two Sat events (Both SCT and LGCT) for south bay BURNers. We will use Facebook to create events. Please do click join if you want to run with BURN or wear BURN T-shirt so that we can make sure that our group run don't exceed 50 runners.
Please do share the trail with other runners, hikers and bikers, make trails to be accessible for everyone.
Together We can run better and make BURN better.
